Brought my out of town family here on a random night without reservations. We were assured we could be made comfortable with patio heaters outside, and that was definitely true. We thought the service was great and the food was great too. We shared an appetizer of polenta and I had the gnocchi. Delicious! Probably a little classy here but we didn't feel out of place, especially warmed by the heaters. Loved the tree lights. It made for an atmospheric meal I was glad to show the family. Would highly recommend for anyone with a hankering for nice, upscale Italian.

Picked this as a spot to try out for our family dinner and we were not disappointed at all. Piatti is inside a shopping center so parking wasn't a problem and it being a Monday night, the restaurant wasn't overly busy. The restaurant has an elevated but cozy vibe to it and there's plenty of seating inside, outside or near the bar if you're trying to catch a game and grab a drink. Donna was our server and she was great and very attentive to our needs. Everything we ordered was great, but I would say my favorites were the Ravioli, Cured Meats & Cheese Plate, and the BREAD. Anything from the flatbread, pizza crust, and the baguette we were served was delicious and served a double purpose to mop up any sauces or flavored oils that were left on plates. Will definitely be back again to try more dishes on their menu.

We have frequented here on several occasions and they do an excellent job with service & food. One time we were here at the same time as the Governor was. Our latest visit was for dinner yesterday. Yup on a Monday! We met our best friends here. Actually we originally had plans to dine at a former place nearby but at that place their bar tables inside were all taken bc of a garden party so we had sat down for ten minutes at a booth clearly in the back so we left bc no one came to serve us which was extremely rude! At Piatti's our waiter Brandon acknowledged us right away & served us water with an extra flask. Here you receive plenty of food that you don't leave the restaurant hungry. In fact our food arrived within minutes of our order & they even split my chopped salad with a raspberry vinaigrette for my wife & me. My wife's frito misto was heavenly & so much food in that one dish that she could have shared it with me. Her aioli was quite spicy too yet tasty! Thank goodness for the water! We also had a good sized plate of delicious brussel sprouts & delish meatballs too that I think my wife over ordered food wise! That's ok as we don't mind leftovers. Our bestie friend ordered the cioppino & it wasn't soupy like most places. In fact my wife wants to order that the next time we come here! Lizz was hangry & raving about the chunky salmon pieces. Woohoo! It looked scrumptious & mouthwatering! I have had the margarita pizza in the past & wife had the chicken but she said the cioppino is calling her name for our next future visit Our favorite area to sit is inside the restaurant at the bar height tables. We have sat in the in between bar & patio area. It was too chilly yesterday to sit outside & especially since our friends & I didn't have a jacket. Parking was free & conveniently out front. Piatti at the Pavilions is absolutely a divine classy restaurant to dine. We will be back again & again!

This is a go to date spot for us, as it's consistent and good. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't change much so we can never get anything new. This isn't the worst thing though, because we actually like everything. Chop salad is a must, great meat to veggie ratio and tons of flavor. Probably my favorite chop salad of any I've ever had. Pasta mains are all great, can't go wrong. They are all rich. Decent wine list, we normally order by the glass as we like different grapes. Patio is excellent, they have space heaters for when it's cool. Ambiance inside is nice, we just prefer the patio. There are a lot of regulars here so make a reservation! Staff is always nice, we love going to Piatti.

I've been here once before ages ago, and it was just like I remembered. Originally, I had a reservation at a nearby restaurant, but it wasn't until we arrived that we found out they don't allow reservations for their happy hour, so we walked over to Piatti since it was a nice place. We were able to be seated right away without a reservation on a Thursday night and while it wasn't super busy, there were still plenty of people there inside and outside. I was disappointed that they only offered an Impossible meat version of their lasagna. How do they not offer a real meat version of such an Italian classic?! I settled for the meatballs and they did not disappoint. My friend ordered the roasted chicken dinner and thoroughly enjoyed that too. They seem to have a decent wine list, although only a couple options from each section were available by the glass. The restaurant was clean and well air conditioned when we arrived and I have to say they have a lot of space. The tables aren't packed together like a lot of places. Their happy hour does end at 5p, so keep that in mind.

We celebrated my good friend's birthday and it was a lovely dinner. Piatti is tucked inside of the Pavilions Shopping Center. I love this mall with some of my favorite shops like Athleta and Williams Sonoma. It's charming and quaint just like the inside of the restaurant. We shared Fritto Misto as an appetizer. I like the jumbo prawns and calabrian chili aioli sauce, but the flavor or seasoning was lacking a little. The fresh ciabatta bread with piatti signature dipping sauce made up for it. Highly recommend the bread, especially if you plan to order pasta. I had the Radiatore with 6 hour beef & pork bolognese, grana padano, seka hills olive oil. It was hearty with a burst of flavors. It tasted even better the next day as leftovers. My friend got the fried pork chop, and it was juicy and savory. The cripsy crust gives it even more flavor. The side of polenta was the best part! I can't cook polenta for the life of me, and I always try to order it when I dine out. The consistency was perfect, and the sweet corn was the cherry on top. Delicious! A nice wine list, and we both enjoyed our choice of red wine. Our server Donna was very attentive and friendly. Beautiful outdoor patio with umbrellas, heaters, and small fountains. They have live music on Friday and Saturday night on the patio. I'm already planning to come here for my anniversary.

Food was wonderful made with really fresh ingredients. Service and vibe were great and restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. Made reservations and were seated right away upon arrival. Love this place for more of an elevated dinner close to home.

Was excited to give Piatti Sacramento a try after trying the Mill Valley location with friends. Server was very friendly and attentive. Beautiful space and ambiance. Would definitely like to come back and try other menu options. Casear salad - 10/10. Delicious. No notes. Saffron Spaghetti ($27) - 7.5/10. Hard to go wrong with prawns, garlic, kale, spicy pickled peppers, basil, parsley, white wine. Delicious, the spicy pickled peppers were particularly spicy that day according to the server and I'd agree. Needed a lot of bread and water to wash it down. Wish there was a bit more flavor going on. Pumpkin Pie Marshmallow Pudding - 5.5/10. We decided to split the seasonal dessert and it was beautiful presentation but inside really just tasted like soupy pumpkin pie, the consistency was off but perhaps it had been waiting to be delivered to our table for a while? Not my favorite. Would order something different in the future because it looked like many delicious options on the menu!
